Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use BuffOrNerf. If your local law requires a higher age to use online services or create an account, that higher age applies.

BuffOrNerf is an independent, non-commercial, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. Overwatch, hero names, portraits, and game content are trademarks and intellectual property of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. They are referenced for informational, commentary, and patch-tracking purposes only.

BuffOrNerf provides a tracker of Overwatch patch notes, hero balance changes, hero stats, favorites, and team composition information. Data may be curated, scraped from public sources, cached, or manually corrected, and may not always reflect the latest game state. BuffOrNerf is not a substitute for official Blizzard patch notes.

• Personal, non-commercial use only.

• No scraping, automated requests, abuse, disruption, or redistribution of app content.

• No attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass security, overload Firebase services, or misuse authentication.

• Do not use BuffOrNerf in a way that violates Blizzard policies, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity under it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, create security risk, or violate these terms. You can request account deletion by emailing buffornerf.legal@gmail.com from the account email.

BuffOrNerf may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. Firebase, public data sources, or third-party providers may also affect availability. We may correct, remove, or update data without notice.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranty of accuracy, availability, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose. Patch, hero, leaderboard, and team-composition data may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuffOrNerf is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, inaccurate data, account issues, third-party services, or downtime.

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. If you are located in the European Union, EU consumer protection laws and GDPR apply to you in addition. If you are located in California, USA, CCPA applies to you in addition. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved amicably; failing that, submitted to the competent courts of Israel, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
