2026-04-23 - Balance Hotfix Update

This Overwatch 2 patch includes 16 buffs, 22 nerfs, and 12 rework/adjustments.

Hero balance changes

• Roadhog - buff - Cooldown reduced from 8 to 7 seconds.
• Sombra - nerf - Movement speed bonus reduction while revealed by damage reduced from 50% to 33%.
• Vendetta - buff - Health increased from 175 to 200. (Total health increased from 250 to 275.)
• Mizuki - neutral - Enemies can no longer prevent Mizuki from recalling by standing on Katashiro Return's starting point.
• Hazard - nerf - Off the Wall: Damage decreased from 60 to 40.
• Hazard - nerf - Woof Woof!: Extra [Spike Guard] Resource reduced from 30% to 15%.
• Hazard - nerf - Woof Woof!: [Violent Leap] Hit Bonus Energy decreased from 15% to 10%.
• Hazard - nerf - Hit Me Again: Movement Speed penalty reduction decreased from 90% reduced to 50% reduced.
• Hazard - nerf - Phreak Foil: Extra [Spike Guard] Resource bonus decreased from 50% to 25%.
• Hazard - nerf - Phreak Foil: [Jagged Wall] Hits Bonus Energy decreased from 25% to 15%.
• Junker Queen - nerf - Royal Bullets: Wound damage decreased from 40 to 25.
• Orisa - nerf - Restortify: Healing reduced from 8% of Max Life per second to 5% of Max Life per second.
• Orisa - nerf - Enhanced Target Sensors: Bonus damage decreased from 25% to 10%.
• Orisa - nerf - Enhanced Target Sensors: Attack Speed stat bonus decreased from 10% to 5%.
• Orisa - nerf - Enhanced Target Sensors: Cost increased from 4000 to 5000.
• Ramattra - buff - Retaliation: Maximum damage increased to 150.
• Ramattra - nerf - Dreadknight: [Annihilation] Duration bonus decreased from 2s to 1s.
• Ramattra - nerf - Conversion Protocol: Healing decreased from 50% to 25% of damage mitigated.
• Ramattra - buff - Voracious Maelstrom: [Nemesis Form] Cooldown Reduction per enemy hit by [Ravenous Vortex] reduced from 1s to 0.5s.
• Ramattra - buff - Void Blight: Void Blight damage increased from 20 to 30.
• Ramattra - buff - R-7000 Powercell: Cost decreased from 12000 to 10000.
• Ramattra - buff - Recursion Relay: Damage amplification increased from 10% to 15%.
• Ramattra - buff - Second Phase: [Ravenous Vortex] cooldown reduction reduced from 100% to 75%.
• Ramattra - nerf - Final Form: Final Form healing reduced from 80 to 50.
• Ramattra - buff - Nano-Mender: Re-enabled.
• Zarya - buff - Increased currency earned from Healing and Damage by 7.14%.
• Freja - nerf - Volley à Deux: Additional bolt damage decreased from 50% reduced damage to 60% reduced damage.
• Ana - buff - Cluster Core: Re-enabled.
• Brigitte - nerf - Packstacker: [Repair Pack] Duration bonus decreased from 50% to 25%.
• Juno - buff - MediMaster: Critical damage increased from 175% to 200%.
• Juno - buff - Long Range Blaster: [Mediblaster] Falloff range bonus increased from 5m to 15m.
• Juno - buff - Heal Formation: Re-enabled.
• Wuyang - nerf - Water College Hat: Passive [Restoration Stream] Duration bonus reduced from 50% to 25%.
• Wuyang - nerf - Water College Hat: Overhealth per second reduced from 10 to 5.
• Wuyang - nerf - Water College Hat: Max Overhealth decreased from 30 to 15.
• Wuyang - nerf - Water College Hat: Cost increased from 4000 to 5000.
• Wuyang - neutral - Water College Hat: In a previous update, fixed an issue where custom bindings would not be saved.
• Wuyang - nerf - Water College Hat: In a previous update, fixed an issue causing the framerate limit on Nintendo Switch 2 to be lower than intended.
• Wuyang - neutral - Water College Hat: In a previous update, fixed an issue with Reaper's Trigger Finger Perk that allowed for an unintended animation cancel.
• Wuyang - buff - Water College Hat: In a previous update, fixed a bug with Sierra's Tight Grip Perk erroneously granting cooldown reduction on Tremor Charge.
• Wuyang - neutral - Water College Hat: In a previous update, fixed a bug with Mercy's Double Dose Perk not correctly reducing the healing on Flash Heal.
• Wuyang - neutral - Water College Hat: Fixed an issue where players could be kicked for inactivity during the Armoury Phase.
• Wuyang - neutral - Water College Hat: Fixed a bug where Ramattra's Insatiable Spiral bonus [Ravenous Vortex] damage was calculated additively instead of multiplicatively.
